What a cool story, Faith! I'll have to remember that when I seem not to be getting anywhere : )

P.U.S.H. -- Until Something Happens !

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin. Suddenly a light filled the room and the Lord appeared. The Lord said, “I have a work for you to do,” and showed him a big rock just outside his cabin door. The Lord explained to the man… “All I want you to do is to push against this rock.” The man did this day after day… week after week… year after year, from sun up to sun down. Each night the man entered his cabin, sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been wasted. The devil, seeing his discouragement, entered the picture by giving the man negative thoughts. Satan gave the impression that the work was impossible, and that he was a failure. The man thought about giving up… but decided to pray about it.

“Lord,” he said, “I have worked long and hard in your service, putting all my strength towards all that you have asked me to do… and I have not even managed to budge this rock. Why am I failing?” The Lord responded,“My friend, when I asked you to do this task, you accepted. Your task was to push the rock, and you have done that. Never once did I mention that I expected you to move the rock… Your task was to push… You have not failed me. Look at yourself, your arms and legs are strong. Through opposition you have grown, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have… Now my friend… I will move the rock.”

There are times we hear a word from God and use our own intellect to decipher what we think He wants, when actually all that he requires is simple obedience and faith in Him. He wants us to exercise the faith that moves mountains… He also wants us to know that it is still God who moves the mountains.

When everything seems to go wrong… just P.U.S.H. When your job gets you down… just P.U.S.H. When your money runs out… just P.U.S.H. When people do not understand you… just P.U.S.H…  P=pray… U=until… S=something… H=happens…

A prayer post from our brother Imran

Dear Heavenly Father, You are such an awesome God! Lord, help me to remember all the things You have done for me in the past, when I am tempted to doubt in my present difficult situation. Help me to daily walk in faith and to always trust You, and not lean unto my own understanding. Deliver me from pride and fear, as these twin evils are aimed at destroying my faith. Give me a love for reading the Bible and open my understanding to the things You desire to reveal to me in Your Word; and then, Lord, give me the grace to obey all that You speak to me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Thanks you my brother for sharing your prayer!!

Prayer post received from our brother and sister Mark & Linda:

Please pray for us, and if you want to see our ministry, visit our country, its close to Manila airport about 45 minutes by car, Antipolo City, its a suburb area of Manila and lots of poor people...

I and my wife is in South Korea for several years, by special invitation of our friend a woman korean missionary (Presbyterian) ,to minister to Filipinos diaspora,in South Korea(there are 85thousand),but she is old now and cannot help us anymore financially. So my wife is working to sustain our minstry in the Philippines and we are paying our rental.

Please remember us in your prayer, my email address and see also my facebook search marcos valencia.

Maybe someday, if you have plan to visit Philipines; we can have a  revival meetings, evangelistic crusade, mission trip, or do some livelihood project, you are very much welcome to visit our church;Victory Christian Fellowship Mabuhay, Antipolo City,Philippines and see the ministerial needs there, thank you very much.

There's a reason for thanksgiving, because God sent his SON JESUS CHRIST for us..(John 3:16)

Today, on Thanks Giving Day, I am always thankful that Jesus Christ loved me and all mankind enough to die on the cross for my sins.  I am thankful today that He is my Lord and Savior to whom all honor and praise is eternally due.
