LIBAW Christian Social Network

A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.
During the night, someone came across this.
An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort.
No one had the heart to send him away so he was there all night.
We should all have the good sense of this dog and curl up in Jesus' lap from time to time.
This is too sweet not to share.
No one mentioned that the dog breed is a "shepherd!"

This looks so much like our Cassie. our 2 year old German Shepherd. I had to post it!

Christ Centered Christmas

By Rev. Dean Beaty 12/14/11

Luke 2:10-11 “And the angel said unto them,

Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings

of great joy, which shall be to all people. For

unto you is born this day in the city of David a

Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” (KJV)

Candlelight – mistletoe

Silver bells – lights aglow

Three wise men – manger hay

Heavenly star – donkeys bray

Christmas gifts – Santa Claus

All of these give us pause.

Christ is born – God’s own Son

Came to die - salvation won.

Which is first in your heart?

Which one gift won’t depart?

Of all this, which is free?

Which will last eternally?

Celebrate Jesus’ birth.

Give His day lasting worth.

Don’t hide Him neath the tree.

Center Christ where all can see.
