The things I had to go through in my past relationships were right on time. Through it all I have grown in the Lord and has learned to wait for my man of God and will settle for nothing less.

And all though he has went on with his life, I know I need to move on with mine. But I LOVED (emphasis) this man because he was going to be my husband. Unlike him, I do not want to find comfort and the ability to "let go" in the arms (and bed) of another. Surely having sex with a stranger isn't the only way to overcome a broken heart and move on. Is it possible to ever stop loving someone you loved like Christ loves the church? And if not, then how can it be possible to move on into another relationship knowing you still harbor love for the one who hurt you? Anyone else ever felt this way? If so, how did you overcome it? I know I have forgiven, but how can I stop hurting for him and finally feel right about the whole thing?
