Worship is being intimate with the Lord and we all know that being intimate is how we conceive. Spritiually in worship we conceive by being intimate with God . So I love to worship draw me nearer to God elevate me in our worship. I'm hear to praise the Lord with all of you my sister and brothers in CHRIST

Love it. What I'd enjoy the saints to experience, is the turning to the Lord, II Corinthians 3:16, "Whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." I'll be here, to share and contribute in any way I can, as time permits.

And so, dear brothers and sisters,
I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you.
Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable.
This is truly the way to worship Him.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world,
but let God transform you into a new person
by changing the way you think.
Then you will learn to know God’s will for you,
which is good and pleasing and perfect.
~ Romans 12:1-2 NLT

I've come as close as earthly possible to worship the Father in spirit and truthfulness. "The Church" is a place that has shown me the way to do this. I really don't know what, or how to say what I'd like to share, in a manner that's appropriate, I mean, in a way that is non-confrontational, and I pray, non-offensive. God help me. Well, just go back in history. In your spirit, today, feel the Spirit of Christ who died only days ago, and has ascended and returned, "The Comforter". That's what you should feel, today, now, in your spirit. What the followers, "saints" did then, is exactly how we worship the closest, "in spirit and truthfulness". One thing for sure, we know, no one walked into a church. Am I going to tell you that going to church is wrong? No. But, the church (over 99%) is wrong. The Discovery Channel aired "The Earliest Christians". The turmoil that the followers of Christ suffered after His death, was tremendous. It got so bad that the brothers and sisters were forced into catacombs of, tiers and miles long of the decaying dead to fellowship, so they would not be caught, by the roman soldiers and killed. So, there is no evidence of a Christian place of worship, until the Roman Catholic Church, hundreds of years, after Christ's death. Almost every church in modern history, is based on that model. Which is wrong. What happened in those few centuries, before the first Roman Catholic Church, is The Church. I'm one of them. There is so much to share, but, once you find the truth, it makes so much sense, and is so simple. Start by identifying pagan belief, then separate them, from Christianity. Christmas, Easter, everything most all Christians were taught. On the whole, when you are done, the only object on the planet you would be left with is the Holy Bible. To literally worship in spirit and truthfulness, that's it. Once you identify anything else with Christ, other than the word, "spirit and truthfulness" goes out the window. Oswald Chambers, said it best, in my mind, when he wrote, "Nowadays we have far too many affinities, we are dissipated with them; right, good, noble affinities which will yet have their fulfilment, but in the meantime God has to atrophy them." Oswald Chambers goes on to write, "Never tolerate through sympathy with yourself or with others any practice that is not in keeping with a holy God." That, points us in the right direction. I live much more than I'm telling right now, but, very few brothers and sisters receive the gospel. He also writes, "If by your preaching you convince me that I am unholy, I resent your preaching." It goes on...

I so agree with you in his presence and this is the question i have been asking too? What is considered true worship?? And could it be only God knows the true worshipers that do worship him in spirit and in truth and we are looking on the outer man but God looks at the heart!

There are times I go into worship in my car, at my desk at work, in the shower, sometimes in the shopping centers. It doesn't matter where I am, I will worship God.

I find myself at my desk at work repeatedly saying, Thank you Jesus, in my heart until I have to get up and go the restroom and worship God. I love those moments where God begans to weigh heavy on me until I have to steal away to cry out, sing or just sit quiet and think on Him.

I love to worship.

I believe this too,,, I have felt the Holy Spirit move so close to me before and I couldnt even move, tears of joy just rolled down my face.....other times I've raised my arms and just wanted to hold them up on and on ,praising God........singing is a way I feel the most comfortable worshiping,,,,,,,,

How do you define true worship? you think Christians have to show "emotions" or outward physical signs to be truly worshiping?
