Shabbat Shalom!! שבת שלום

Now on the final and most important day of the Feast [Sukkot], Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice,
If any man is thirsty,
let him come to Me and drink!

He who believes in Me
[who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me]
as the Scripture has said,
From his innermost being shall flow
[continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

But He was speaking here of the Spirit,
Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him
were afterward to receive.
For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given,
because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

Shalom!! שלום

Today IS (September 28, 2009)
Yom haKippurrim יום הכִּפֻּרִים
10th day "in the Seventh Month"
according to Yahuah's Word in the Hebrew of haTorah:
Day of the Atonements

This is the 6th of the 7 Biblical Annual Appointed Times,
Special times in which Yeshua has made appointments
to meet with us in a special way.

Here is another message that came to me
from [Yeshua] the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
“This is what [Yeshua] the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:
The traditional fasts and times of mourning
you have kept
in early summer, midsummer, autumn, and winter
are now ended.
They will become
festivals of joy and celebration
for the people of Judah.
So love truth and peace.

America the beautiful
or so you used to be.
Land of the pilgrims pride
I'm glad they'll never see
Babies piled in dumpster,
Abortin on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge thier lusts,
when God has said abstain
from whom we cannot hide
What then is left for us to do
but stem this evil tide
If we who are his children
will humbly turn and pray
seek his holy face and mend our evil way
Then God will hear from heaven;
and forgive us of our sins
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within
But, America the beautiful,
If you don't- then you will see,
A sad but holy God
withdraw His hand from thee.

This says it all. May we all forward this message to pray for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the beautiful.

IN GOD WE TRUST!!!!!!

I'm not a great Bible scholar so I don't have the addresses. I suppose I could look them up but I am not going to today. I believe what Greg is saying is pretty accurate. But it is the motivation of ones heart that God is interested in. Somewhere in there He says if you "seek first the Kingdom of God and ALL these things shall be added unto you". If He is number one then He can do whatever He wants with you and you will still adore Him. We all know that it takes money to advance any cause so on that basis and with a pure heart why wouldn't God provide the financial means to accomplish HIS will!!! He says somewhere between genesis and revelation that the riches of the ungodly are stored up for the righteous. What does that mean? Do you think they are stored up just to remain dusty or are they there for a purpose? He also says somewhere in there that a good father doesn't withhold any good thing from his children. If God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (also in there) don't you think He will provide everything His children need to fulfill the dream HE has placed in them from birth? He says somewhere in there that He has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives. If this is the case do you think He won't provide everything we need to fulfill this plan and purpose? I am not a great debater..... but the answer to this is clearly motivation and intent. God is more interested in our hearts than ANY THING ELSE!

Mike,
Response is key in the life dedicated to following Christ. Jesus was surrounded by those that were teaching error and yet the majority of His preaching and teaching dealt with the relaying of a previously revealed truth, showing how it related to the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven. This was done while seeking to turn them from darkness to light. I say all of this to say, that today we can make no improvement to His method.

Jesus knew what was motivating those that were preaching error and if we are honest with ourselves, we know as well. Money, Position, Power, Pride and any number of other ills. I am writing this slowing and thoughtfully and I hope the reader, reads it slowly and thoughtfully, because the devil divides us with issues like these. There are so many well-meaning and honest followers that get swept up in the emotional appeal or charisma of a personality or ministry that they ignore Scriptural injunctions, such as the one below. God, in moving us forward in our spiritual walk with Him, whether in poverty or in wealth, is prospering us. That bears repeating, God, in moving us forward in our spiritual walk with Him, whether in poverty or in wealth, is prospering us. God's positive involvement allowing us to draw closer to Him or understand more about Him is prosperity (Hebrew: tsaw lakh - literally to "push forward"). Paul stated that he knew how to abound and how to be abased. He said that in whatever state he was in that he was "to be content." Below you will read 1 Timothy 6:1-11, Paul explains the challenge and dangers surrounding this ideology of gain being considered godliness. He is dealing with monetary wealth, but in another passage, he discusses the malady that was in his flesh. From either the health or the wealth standpoint, the answer was the same. God teaches sufficiency of grace and contentment.

1Ti 6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
1Ti 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1Ti 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Hope this helps,
Greg
