My Lord and Savior,
Yeshua [Jesus] was an extreme athlete: He walked on water in high waves and powerful winds. Everything about Him was willing to live extreme IN God's blessings, to show us the Way to abundant life NOW in this earthly life.
Do you DARE to be extreme in your life?
I had heard that Messianic followers of
Yeshua don't observe Easter Or Chirstmas, but nobody ever explained it to me. So I started digging into it on Sunday and this is what God has shown me from His Word (and the truth about thes pagan rituals and traditions) The quote from Daniel has taken on new light for me, Christians ARE so worn down and wom out, confused and deceived:
The Horror about Easter Rituals and Traditions
And he shall speak words against the Most High [God]
and shall wear out the saints of the Most High a
and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days]
and the law;
~ from Daniel 7:25 AMP
They read from the Book of the Law of God
and clearly explained the meaning of what was being read,
helping the people understand each passage.
Then Nehemiah the governor,
Ezra the priest and scribe,
and the Levites who were interpreting for the people
said to them,
“Don’t mourn or weep on such a day as this!
For today is a sacred day before the Lord your God.”
For the people had all been weeping
as they listened to the words of the Law."
~ Nehemiah 8:8-9 NLT
A final word:
Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Put on all of God’s armor
so that you will be able to stand firm
against all strategies of the devil.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies,
but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,
against mighty powers in this dark world,
and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
...Put on salvation as your helmet,
and take the sword of the Spirit,
which is the Word of God.
~ Ephesians 6:10-12,17 NLT
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
~ John 10:27 NLT
“Easter Facts”
"Easter" derived from the ancient word for spring: "Eastre"
The Saxons great mother goddess is Eostre and there’s a spring festivals to honor her.
The goddess Ostara is a Norse equivalent, her symbols were the hare and the egg.
(Easter eggs and bunnies)
Mediterranean fertility goddesses: Phrygian & Cybele honored on vernal equinox (March 20 or 21)
Cybele’s consort, Attis, born of a virgin, died and been resurrected three days later. derived from earlier myths gods: Osiris, Dionysus, and Orpheus. Attis death was commemorated on a Friday and the resurrection was celebrated three days later on Sunday.
Other Easter traditions of pagan origin:
The Easter sunrise service: welcoming the sun on the morning of the spring equinox, marking the beginning of spring.
“Easter lilies” revered by the ancients as a male fertility symbols.
Dyed eggs were part of ancient Babylonian & Egyptians religions rituals.
“The Christian version of Easter is celebrated after the first full moon after the vernal equinox. Modern day neo-pagans usually have their spring celebrations on the day of the equinox. Either way, these celebrations have gone on every year continuously for over 2500 years. So, next Sunday, if you go to an Easter sunrise service, hunt for colored eggs or eat marshmallow bunnies, remember you are indulging in pagan rituals that celebrate fertility and the advent of springtime!” April 8, 2001 The Pagan Origins of Easter By Royce Carlson

Isra'el stayed at Sheetim, and there the people began whoring with the women of Mo'av.
These women invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, where the people ate and bowed down to their gods.
With Isra'el thus joined to Ba'al-P'or, the anger of ADONAI blazed up against Isra'el.
ADONAI said to Moshe, "Take all the chiefs of the people, and hang them facing the sun before ADONAI, so that the raging fury of ADONAI will turn away from Isra'el."
Moshe said to the judges of Isra'el, "Each of you is to put to death those in his tribe who have joined themselves to Ba'al-P'or."
Just then, in the sight of Moshe and the whole community of Isra'el, as they were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting, a man from Isra'el came by, bringing to his family a woman from Midyan.
When Pinchas the son of El'azar, the son of Aharon the cohen, saw it, he got up from the middle of the crowd, took a spear in his hand,
and pursued the man from Isra'el right into the inner part of the tent, where he thrust his spear through both of them -the man from Isra'el and the woman through her stomach. Thus was the plague among the people of Isra'el stopped;
nevertheless, 24,000 died in the plague.
ADONAI said to Moshe, "Pinchas the son of El'azar, the son of Aharon the cohen, has deflected my anger from the people of Isra'el by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn't destroy them in my own zeal.
~ Numbers 25:1-11 CJB
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death,
between blessings and curses.
Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.
Oh, that you would choose life,
so that you and your descendants might live!
You can make this choice
by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him,
and committing yourself firmly to Him.
This is the key to your life.
And if you love and obey the Lord,
you will live long
in the land the Lord swore
to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
~ Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NLT
“Listen, O Israel!
The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.
And you must love the Lord your God
with all your heart,
all your soul,
and all your strength.
And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly
to these commands that I am giving you today.
Repeat them again and again to your children.
Talk about them when you are at home
and when you are on the road,
when you are going to bed
and when you are getting up.
Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead
as reminders.
Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
~ Deuteronomy 6:4-9 NLT
