Why Do you think that it is that Christian Believers of All people are so unforgviving ,when that is the principle foundation of our Faith?????

I find this fact amazing ,I expect this from the world because this is there nature but this should not be the character of God's people. It seems that often times we as Christians are to eager to Pre Judged, stone ,Condemn and be unforgiving.Remember the lady that had commited that sin of adultry,All the religious people was ready to condemn her to death, Jesus Reply was simple and to the point Let him without sin cast the first stone, the same with the thief on the cross in his last hour.Again My question is Why Do you think that is as Christian we are so hard on people including each other ???????

As children we tend to learn or pick-up treats from our own parents, and I know now that I have been saved and know the word of God one try's to be too rightious. Some times we can get to puffed-up for our own good, but as long as you catch yourself, confess it and then repent of it. As humans we are prone to fail from time to time even us christians, as the scriptures says...He died while we where yet sinners. A perfected God died for unperfect people: Ps 138: 8...The Lord will perfect that which concerns me: Ps139 tells me that there is nothing hidden in us or in our lives, that the darkness is as the light to the Lord. And I know that it is in Ps: it is writen about me, I have to look it up, but I know it is in Ps. God created us, and when an architict builds something he has to draw up the blue prints and what materials to use and how it willl be constructed, there is nothing hidden form the architict, he knows the strengths and weaknesses of the building and he builds it for a purpose and a certain fuction, such as God has created us. Thanks for Stopping by I just love your Reply , espcially the Sadducee part LOL Ha ha he he :) I guess it is pretty sad when a person forget how they were when Jesus took time and waited patiently for them to get saved, and then they forget about it and won't give others that same courrtesy in return That So Saddddd :( but God Grace is Sufficient I'm Glad!!!
That is so funny that you mention the adultress in this discussion because when I read you the title that is the first thing I thought of...

There are many things/reasons that can cause unforgiveness for example: Jealousy, anger, fear of situation or person, conceit, or religion...

Whatever the case maybe its important to realize deliverance is needed. We all must remember that old wine cannot go into new wine skins.

Forgiveness is a process we must all work thru in our life in order for us to be forgiven. The hardest place to start is with yourself...

Wow , Ruthann what a great an wise answer,I see you are very knowledeable on this topic, not only was your answer on point but it was also revealing and Educating at trhe same time.It also help us to understand some of the triggers that will set off judging & unforgiveness. It explain a lot to me too so thank you so much for taking the time to share,And what I like the most you did it in a spirit of Love and That's what the Zone is all about,God's ultimate Grace!!!!
Maybe people should take a moment and check there real motives before they jugde others, because the problem may be coming from within from some pass issues ,hurts and pain.
Again Thank You :)

In our Christian walk we can become weary and disillusioned with life sometimes....the day in and day out drudgery of life is enough to discourage anyone and good ole St. Nick can't even fix these feelings...Ho-Hum...but the good news is Jesus can and he will!...When hopes and dreams are dashed, crushed or delayed....we can become pessimistic instead of optimistic...but as Kirk Franklin says it, "delay is not a denial".....i am talking about myself on today my brother.... if you noticed....i said on today.......I am not harboring unforgiveness but these kind of feelings can lead to it ...i am not saying that i don't have to exercise it more sometimes than at others so then it becomes an ongoing process.....i know that you already have the answer but you just wanted to see how i felt and thought about it....so this is my " thought of the day" my brother.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not...amen

FORGIVE: FOR- means to...
GIVE means-give a gift/gifts/donations, the capacity to yield under pressure.
So...
Forgive means to give a gift/gifts/donations by yielding under pressure.

Sometimes we look at forgiving as more of an effort than something to be done with a cheerful heart...for God loves a cheerful giver...we should apply the same principles to forgiving as we do when we are paying tithes or buying gifts for others at this time of year....Christmas is the most joyous time of the year and most people will put their differences aside to enjoy it...we should not let the spirit of love and forgiveness emanate because it is Christmas...but for the real reason....it pleased God to put Jesus to grief so that we might have eternal life...he was not happy or overjoyed in a sick kind of way but because he saw the end results and that was many souls being saved.

Isaiah 53:10
Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, and he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hands.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not persih, but have everlasting life.

We should count it all joy and a pleasure to forgive others as God also counted it all joy and a pleasure to give his one and only Son for your sins and mine....imagine yourself handing that person the most expensive and wonderful boxed gift that they could have ever wanted....Jesus Christ the Righteous...somebodys life might be depending on it...amen
