First I have to say Jesus Christ my Lord & savior Because He Arose!!!!!
But Next No Doubt my wife ,we married young and have been married 26 wonderful years now.I'm a very perculiar person this I know :) and we are very different in so many ways but our differences brings about amazing checks & balances in our relatinships.I had been searching for that special person in my life out in the world but after some major disaterous relationships I called it quits , I Got saved and then along came my wife truly the desire's of my heart ! she Loves the Lord , and the word of God she spend hours & hours studying the bible,she loves to see people on the bottom rise to the top it gives her so much joy,she teaches ,empower & encourage the women in our community in a home based bible study.She always sacrafice for our family and put others before herself.But most important of all she trust & allows me to be the priests in my home , lets me be me and The man of God that God has call me to be ;she is full of Grace ,Compassion ,humility, We been through a lot of trials & tribulations together but somehow against all odds she continues to rise to the occasion to become My Hero!!!!

I would say that I actually have two heros... the first person would be my mother for praying for me while I was in witchcraft, I know in my heart I would not be alive today is it was not for those prayers.

The second hero I would say is an 80's Christian band name Stryper

This band actually came out when I was removed from witchcraft. I had been involved with music that was not healthy for a someone who was being delivered from witchcraft. God had introduced me to Stryper, showing me the meaning of worship also Stryper had songs that touched my heart creating a safe haven to move closer to God thru His son Jesus Christ.

Ruthann that's an awesome reply I truly argree most of us would not be around today if it had not been for our mother's prayers.There is nothging like a praying mother ,I think many forget that the gospel was first carried by a woman(Mary) as she left the tomb after Jesus had arisen,no one else was around.

And although many have a hard time understanding Christian Rap & Rock,other alternative Christian music testimonies like this let us know that God is still useing it to deliver and set us free,to us it means life,Different strokes for different folks :)

As you well know that I write poetry so I can relate to music in a poetic point of view. God knows excatly how to touch the lost with me it was thru the music.. However music can be used for healing, understanding, faith, to push forward, to get back on track and much, much more. We are all different vessels with gifts in God's kingdom so therefore it makes more sense to have a wide variety of music specially with such a large diversity in our youth.

I pray the youth will allow the poety of music show them the path of worship with God... Amen
