Hi Donna,
I too was hoping this would be an active group, but never anything going on in here. I use to do prison ministry a few years ago and miss going into the prisons, but long story. I was really hoping to do some good works for the Lord in here, but no one comes in anymore. I'm sorry to hear about your son and anytime you want to talk about it I will be here. I will add you as a friend so we can talk in private and you and your son are now in my prayers. God bless you all.

Hi my name is Donna, I am so glad i found this group, my son SHAUN is 23 and been in prison since he turned 18 he has aout 11 months left, i have no one to talk toabout all this, people and family are soooooo judgemental and sa they are christian, I thought we were suppose to be there for each other, uplift/encourage/pray for one another so i carry this alone, shaun was a good kid, trying to fit in w/his peers he didnt do the crime but was there,so he went dowm to for 6 years, it was the worst day of my life,up to this point, i pray everyday for his salvation!!

For all the brothers in African prisons:

Blood of the martyrs

Africa - my Africa
I hear you crying tonight
Don’t worry my child, you are not alone
For I’ve never left your sight
I watch over you - my precious Africa
And I formed you out of all love
The blood of the martyrs cry out to me
As I rescue them all each one

Chorus/
Ohh the blood of Jesus
It made a way – it made me see
The depth of what you’ve given
The prize upon that tree
God says: Don’t cry anymore ohh Africa
But rather come to me
Lay down your heavy burdens
And find life – feel finally free

I love you ohh my Africa
And I cry out that you would love me
See what Christ truly did for you
When he died upon that tree
He took your bruises, scars and tears
Washed you clean, took away your fears
Don’t look away – but rather look to me
Africa my child…
open up your eyes - open them up and see

Bridge/
The blood cries out to him who forever sees
So reach out to Jesus
Find life – feel finally free

My husband is in prison right now in Arizona, For bank robbery and drugs. things got really bad for us and I just could not take it anymore, My husband using drugs, I started praying please lord lock him up I cant take this anymore. So that is what happened to him. Now like i said he is in the prison system and he really hates it, Everyday I hear him complain about how bad it is for him there and ect. I do agree that it is really bad in there, but this was only my way to have him realize he was headed for hell. now he is going to church in there and is drug free. But the people in there are not every nice and yo never get the answer you need. I thank you for this ministry there is a big need for it

Hi Dr. Sinclar, praise the Lord for your dedication to going into the prisons and proclaiming the name of Jesus. I too use to go into the prisons and minister and it was such a privilege when I went there. Unfortunately I do not do this anymore for reasons I have stated in the one discussion, but I still pray for them that they will receive truth through the Holy Spirit as Gods Spirit ministers to their Spiritual ears. Yes it is bad in other countries and I will keep you in my prayers.
