A Prayer for the American Government

Father, in Jesus Christ’s name, I give thanks for the United States of America and its government. I hold up in prayer before You the men and the women who are in positions of authority. I pray and intercede for the President, the representatives, the senators, the judges of America, the police, as well as the governors and mayors, and for all those who are in authority over them in any way. I pray that the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon them all.

I believe that skilful and godly wisdom has entered into the heart of their President and knowledge is pleasant to him. Discretion watches over him; understanding keeps him and delivers him from the way of evil and from evil men.

Father; I ask that You compass the President about with men and women who make their hearts and ears attentive to godly counsel and do that which is right in Your sight. I believe You cause them to be men and women of wisdom and integrity who are obedient concerning the people of America that they may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty. I pray that the upright shall dwell in their government – that men and women blameless and complete in Your sight, Father, shall remain in these positions of authority; but the wicked shall be cut off from their government and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.

Your Word declares that “blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psalm 33:12).

I pray America receives Your blessing. Father, You are their Refuge and Stronghold in times of trouble. So I declare with my mouth that the people of America will dwell safely in their land, and prosper abundantly. They are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus!

It is written in Your Word that the heart of the king is in the hand of the LORD and that You turn it whichever way You desire. I believe that the heart of the leader of America is in Your hand and that his decisions are divinely directed of the LORD. I give you thanks LORD, that the “good news” of the Gospel is published in their land. The Word of the LORD prevails and grows mightily in the hearts and lives of the people of America. I give you thanks for this blessed land and all their leaders You have given unto them, in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s awesome name.

Jesus is LORD over the United States of America! AMEN.

~The Passion of God!

There's a lot of talk about turning our country back to God;
Yet, how many are truly seeking Him with face down to sod?
We say that we're on the wrong track; law, belief profound;
To accomplish, our prayers must believe His will to be found!
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

We cannot continue acting, living, following only our own will;
Doing that which feels and looks good; providing more thrills!
We shall all answer for how we use our gifts, or allot our time.
Are they used to glorify The Father, or provide more of "mine"?
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

Are our churches truly feeding the flock with God's Holy word;
Preparing us to battle evil in armor with truths of the sword?
Or, are our churches out to fill their coffers while not helping,
Those who are downtrodden, poor, hungry, all hopes melting?
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

I see it, I heart it, and I live it, as I observe deeds in daily life;
The hungry; still hungry, the poor walking without God's light!
What shall we tell God we've accomplished on Judgement Day?
"God, I am sorry I only cared about myself, not of your way"!
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

It is so easy to walk the walk, but where do steps take you?
It is so easy to talk the talk, but are words spoken, those true?
Do we follow through and carry out the will of our loving God,
As we seek answers to "righten" America with staff and rod!
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

These words might cause many to feel they are not for them,
Yet, not one of us living on this earth, lives a day without sin!
We are all forgiven for our sins by our loving Father of grace;
But, we're still accountable to help those of all creed and race!
We must feel THE PASSION OF GOD!

Why I Can't Vote For Obama

Dear Friends,

A few months ago I was asked for my perspective on Obama, I sent out an email with a few points. With the election just around the corner I decided to complete my perspective. Those of you on my e-list have seen some of this before but it's worth repeating...

First I must say whoever wins the election will have my prayer support. Obama needs to be commended for his accomplishments but I need to explain why I will not be voting for him.

Many of my friends process their identity through their blackness. I process my identity through Christ. Being a Christian (a Christ follower) means He leads, I follow. I can't dictate the terms, He does because He is the leader.

I can't vote black because I am black; I have to vote Christian because that's who I am. Christian first, black second. Neither should anyone from other ethnic groups vote because of ethnicity. 200 years from now I won't be asked if I w as black or white. I will be asked if I knew Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

In an election there are many issues to consider but when a society gets abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning - to name a few, then wrong economic concerns will soon not matter.

We need to follow Martin Luther King's words, 'don't judge someone by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.' I don't know Obama, so all I can go on is his voting record. His voting record earned him the title of the most liberal senator in the US Senate in 2007.

To beat Ted Kennedy and Hilary Clinton as the most liberal senator, takes some doing. Obama accomplished this feat in 2 short years. I wonder what would happen to America if he had four years to work with.

There is a reason Planned Parenthood gives him a 100 % rating. There is a reason the homosexual community supports him. There is a reason Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, Hamas etc. love him. There is a reason he said he would nominate liberal judges to the Supreme Court. There is a reason he voted against the infanticide bill. There is a reason he voted 'No' on the constitutional ban of same-sex marriage.
There is a reason he voted 'No' on banning partial birth abortion. There is a reason he voted 'No' on confirming Justices Roberts and Alito. These two judges are conservatives and they have since overturned partial birth abortion. The same practice Obama wanted to continue.

Let's take a look at the practice he wanted to continue. The 5 Step Partial Birth Abortion procedures:

A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.
(Remember this is a live baby)
B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.
D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are
then opened to enlarge the hole.
E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's
brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then
removed.

God help him (the Doctor).

There is a reason Obama opposed the parental notification law.

Think about this: You can' not give a child an aspirin without parental notification but that same child can have an abortion without parental notification. This is insane.

There is a reason Obama went to Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years.

Obama tells us he has good judgment, but he sat under Jeremiah Wright's teaching for 20 years. Now he is condemning Wright's sermons. I wonder why now?

Obama said Jeremiah Wright led him to the Lord and discipled him. A disciple is one in training. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 - 20 'Go and make disciples of all nations.' This means reproduce yourself. Teach people to think like you, walk like you; talk like you believe what you believe etc.
The question I have is what did Jeremiah Wright teach him?

Would you support a White President who went to a church which has tenets that said they have a
1. Commitment to the White Community
2. Commitment to the White Family
3. Adherence to the White Work Ethic
4. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available
to the White Community.
5. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for
Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
6. Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the
White Value System
7. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.

Would you support a President who went to a church like that?

Just change the word from white to black and you have the tenets of Obama's former church. If President Bush was a member of a church like this, he would be called a racist. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been marching outside.

This kind of church is a racist church. Obama did not wake up after 20 years and just discover he'd been going to a racist church. The TRUE church can't be about race. Jesus did not come for any particular race. He came for the whole world.

A church can't have a value system based on race. The churches value system has to be based on biblical mandates. It does not matter if it's a white church or a black church based on racial values, it's still wrong. Anyone from either race that attends a church like this would never get my vote.

Obama's former Pastor Jeremiah Wright is a disciple of liberal theologian James Cone, author of the 1970 book 'the goals of the black community'. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.

Cone is the man Obama's mentor looks up to. Does Obama believe this?

So what does all this mean for the nation?

In the past when the Lord brought someone with the beliefs of Obama to lead a nation it meant one thing - judgment.

Read 1 Samuel 8 when Israel asked for a king. First God says in 1 Samuel 1:9 'Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.'

Then God says

1 Samuel 1:18 ' When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.' 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. 'No!' they said. 'We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.' 21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeate d it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, 'Listen to them and give them a king.'

Here is what we know for sure.

God is not schizophrenic

He would not tell one person to vote for Obama and one to vote for McCain. As the scripture says, a city divided against itself cannot stand, so obviously many people are not hearing from God. Maybe I am the one not hearing but I know God does not change and Obama contradicts many things I read in scripture so I doubt it.

For all my friends who are voting for Obama can you really look God in the face and say; Father ,based on your word, I am voting for Obama even though I know he will continue the genocidal practice of partial birth abortion. He might have to nominate three or four Supreme Court justices, and I am sure he will be nominating liberal judges who will be making laws that are against you. I also know he will continue to push for homosexual rights , even though you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this. I know I can look the other way because of the economy.

I could not see Jesus agreeing with many of Obama's positions. Finally I have two questions for all my liberal friends.

Since we know someone's value system has to be placed on the nation,
1. Whose value system should be placed on the nation.

2. Who should determine that this is the right value system for the nation?

Father, I ask that You stir the heart of this nation to repentance. Bring a revival to the United States. Lord, move within the government and put in office those that seek to do Your will. Bring salvation to the government officials...and if they refuse to repent, let them be replaced with Christians. Stir the hearts of the judges in this nation Oh God! Lord, bring down the wicked judges that pervert the Constitution that our founding fathers created. Convict the hearts of these wicked rulers and bring them to repentance. Father, if they will not repent, then I pray You move them from office. Lord, have mercy upon our children! Oh God, bring down the abortion laws that have sanctioned the murder of our precious babies. Lord, touch each pregnant woman...give them a clear mind; convict their hearts that they may know the life within them is a child, created in Your image. God, move upon the media...the lies, the false doctrine, the lust, the perverseness that they preach...and bring them down. Bring the backsliders back home. Bring low the wicked who are not ashamed of their sin. Have mercy dear Lord upon Your people. Let Your children hunger & thirst after righteousness. Let Your children draw near to You, dear Father. Expose the false prophets that are teaching heresies in this land. Bring down the idols in this country. Father, we are weak & nothing without You. We live & breathe & have our being because of Your grace & mercy. Let this nation return to You Lord & bring glory to Your holy name. Let this nation once more be known as a Christian nation. Move upon the hearts of Your people so that they may be stirred to action...so that they will not sit idly by while evil men destroy our country. Thank You Father for the mercy You have shown upon us. Thank You Lord that You have fed us & clothed us. Lord, be merciful to the homeless. Touch the hearts of those who can help the homeless...touch each of us that we will lend a hand to all who we can. Give us a love one for another. We can only love through Your love. Thank You Father for Your precious Son. Thank You Jesus for calvary. His mercy endureth forever.

Pray, Ok ,will do ,I always will because I love this land God has blessed me to be born in. I care what happens to it and I care about the people in it.
Father God,
Please show us your will for this country so that we can pray a perfect pray for it. Bless those with wisdom who have been elected to represent all of us as a nation. Root out those leader who are not humble and honorable. Show us how to vote and Show us what issues are of the gravest importance first. Help each one of us to be patriotic and dedicated to service even if we can only do a small part show us how to stand in the gap and be faithfull to it. Thank you Lord for your mercy and thank you God for these who are willing to do your will.

Heavenly Father I come before thee in humble prayer asking thee to have mercy upon the land that I love,Father I as Daniel did reconize the sins of my people and confess them to thee,but I ask thee to please don''t let her be destroyed by the enemy for Lord she is the only home I have here on this earth and the only place I have to raise my children and grandchildren,I believe that you have all power and that you are able to save her and to touch the hearts and minds of the leaders of our country and also those who have the power and influence to change her in any way,I ask that you send your angels to encamp about her and deliver her from evil for thy name sake and for the glory of the only true and living God ,Jesus Christ our lord amen.

I'll share with you some of what Jesus has done in my life.

Jesus 'rewards' are the many blessing I receive here on earth. I don't serve Him to 'get something in return. My reward is God's love for me. I'm a willing Servant of the Lord. I love the Lord, and I know the Lord loves me. I believe He rewards me for my faithfulness to Him. Jesus has chosen me as to be a witness to others about His goodness.


One of Jesus' rewards I received was the gift of life that I now have. He made me whole, and put me in my right mind. You see, I was one of the lost that the Bible talks about, I was a drunken adulterer, deep in sin, hateful, spiteful, jealous, low self-esteem, haughty, arrogant, did not have any friends, was a loner and lonely person, isolated myself from having healthy relationships, looked for love in all the wrong places, and did not care about myself or anyone else. I could go on and on and on. God changed me, then He rewarded me by healing my mind, delivering me from alcohol, restored relationships with my family.

I could not communicate with others on any type of level. My vocabulary was limited to 'where's it at' and 'who's got it.' I'm not saying I'm the best communicator now, because I know the Lord is not done with me yet. Jesus is still working on me. God has me here for a reason. Its my season.

I hope I shed a little light about my love for Jesus and His reward for me. I'm happy Jesus loves me that much to bless me. I receive all blessings Jesus rewards me with. I'm not ashamed of Jesus' rewarding me. I can witness to others about His goodness and that He will do the same for he or she. Jesus is making me into His image.

The Good News is, Jesus is coming back soon and He will have His reward with Him. I will get to spend eternity with Jesus. That's my ultimate reward. Praise the Lord. Glory, glory.

God is good. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus is coming back soon. Jesus has sounded the alarm.

With that being said it is time now for evangelist like others and myself to come to guard as we are losing a lot of brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. There are many fraudulent so-called anointed people out there. My jobs firstly is to let all know that we the believers and followers of Jesus Christ the son of God almighty are all anointed equally. Some of us have a different calling than others hence the five fold or mantles of Jesus Apostles Prophets, Evangelist, Sheppard’s and Teachers.

Yes we may be distinct but no more anointed just used differently by the Holy Spirit. God has the plan that will work that is His promise. We have to come into order now to save our cities schools homes and families. Please hear my plea this is not a USA problem but a Problem here in Canada and around the world. The Church all around the world is in deep trouble. Please will the real Christians please stand to Guard
