Laughter is a riotous voe of acceptance...

that God is the God-who-sees. Whatever it is probably won't go away, so we might as well live and laugh through it. When we double over laughing, we bend so we don't break, If you think your particular troubles are too heavy and too traumatic to laugh about, remember that laughing is like changing a baby's diaper. it doesn't solve any problems permanently, but it makes things more acceptable for awhile.

LOL! one time, not that long ago, I got into a physical fight with a member of my church after church on Sunday. I never returned to that church and I'm still bothered by it. Sometimes I have no peace about it. I felt and still feel embarrassed and ashamed and hurt that it wasn't resolved when I sought otu help before I lashed out. How does God see me now? If he forgave those who murdered in the Bible, surely he will forgive me for fighting. I guess the reason I can't rest is cause I haven't forgiven myself. The devil keeps replaying it in my mind.

Comment by Priscilla Schrader on May 29, 2010 at 1:42am: lately i've found it hard to talk to my parents about all that i am going through. they have never been he types to sit and listen they usually interrupt and things get out of hand and my feelings turn into arguments, but now I am becoming closer with God and I found that he's the listener that I have always wanted. A relief. But I still yearn for that comfort of my parents and some of their advice too, thas what parents are there for. To help their children.
