What do you think Paul's thorn in his flesh was?? an idea? this is not a trick question!!

In the N.T. 2 Corithians chapter 12 verses 1-12 Paul prays to the lord about a thorn in his flesh that it might depart from him. and the lord told him "My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect is weakness. Paul went on to say Most gladly therefore will i rather glory in my infirmities that the power of christ may rest upon me. therefore i take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in perseceutions, in distresses for christ's ake, for when ia m weak, than amd i strong.

Matt 17:20 He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."
When you pull scripture or words out of its context you can change the meaning or interpretation of what was originally said. This is what the world is doing with the Constitution. When you put the words “ how large letter” together as it was in the scripture you quoted, then anyone can see that Paul was not talking about a single letter like an “A or H” but the letter or epistle he wrote to the church! Again in the mouth of two or three witnesses the bible say’s let every word be established.

How large: G4080 πηλίκος pēlikos pay-lee'-kos A quantitative form (the feminine) of the base of G4225; how much (as indefinite), that is, in size or (figuratively) dignity: - how great (large).

Letter: G1121 γράμμα gramma gram'-mah From G1125; a writing, that is, a letter, note, epistle, book, etc.; plural learning: - bill, learning, letter, scripture, writing, written.
Then your interpretation are wrong. Discussing the word of God does not and never will frustrate me. I think this is the best discussion I've seen since I join the group.. If I came across as so , please forgive me . And yet I still say Paul did not have eye problems as some believe!
what if it literally was a thorn stuck in his foot or something that he could never get out - since tweezer would not be invented for another 247 years...?
The Lord showed me about 3 yrs ago that the thorn in the Apostle Paul's side wasn't his eye sight like a lot of people believe and teach. It is just what the Bible says it was, An evil spirit sent from satan to harass him by bringing up his short comings (sin) Paul even said for that which I do I allow not; for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. The reason why satan sent an evil spirit to harass him was to try to stop him from what he was doing, you see everywhere Paul went he preached the gospel and destroyed a little bit of satans kingdom. And the reason God allowed satan to do this was to keep Paul from getting pride because of our human nature it's hard to not get prideful when God uses us in such big ways. It's an awesome and exciting thing when God reveals things to us that we weren't taught by others and it let's us know He's with us when the enemy tries to put doubts in us. We as Christians can go to church and walk in obedience to God's word in all phases and walk in love with our fellow man and satan could pretty much care less, But when we start witnessing and revealing the reality of God and His love for us to the lost and start reaching and turning them to God then satan gnashes his teeth at us.
i don't know if this is working, i tried twice
I believe that he had many thorns both physical and spiritual. I know that we are all in this same boat. However, God loves us regardless of our thorns and we become stronger in Christ because of them when we trust God to overcome them for us.
Paul was talkin about an infirmaty it wasn't a physical thorn but a spiritual thorn and wut paul was doin was boosting n his infirmaty and he was tellin us is that we should still say we're blessed when we r going through our infirmaty we should thank God whenever he gives us an obstacle and it says we should praise God in and out of season
