Hey, "...you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you..." Acts 1:8. I struggle with this. What power do I have? In fact, God have mercy, where is the Power of the church? "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of Power." 1 Cor. 4:20.
I have a promise of well done as long as I am sealed by Gods Spirit,
2Corinthians 1:21 Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
2Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Good and faithful servant is a promise also if I am following in the works of the Lord
The works of the Lord are not just teaching his word behind a pulpit, Matthew 25:35-40, the works of the Lord also include feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and not turning our backs on those that are in prison. The works of the Lord is the witness of God shared with people that do not know him.

The basics of what we are to do as a child of God is to know that the calling from God is to take his word out into the world according to Matthew 28:18-20, and to take His word out with love and compassion in our hearts, Matthew 22:36-40, and the works of the Lord are helping those who need our help, Matthew 25:35-40. Grace is what saves us and the works we do are done unto the glory of the kingdom of God.
Even Satan can work through those with signs and wonders that are truly not sealed by Gods Spirit for many people have not been taught what true Salvation is and fall into misconceptions of false teachings.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
