Wearing The Appropriate Attire
Many times we quickly get up and rush to dress ourselves only to run out the front door to head to our jobs or other destinations. Satan gets excited because he sees his plan sneak attack is now in motion, that night Satan was doing all he could to make sure that your sleep would be hard and good, so good that’s when God woke you up before the alarm went off to spend some alone time with him. Many times we find ourselves hitting the snooze button for a few more minutes of sleep. Just five more minutes we reply and then I will get up. I know we all have been there trying to squeeze a little more time, only to race at the last minute to rush out the door. Satan knows that when you spend quality time with the Father you begin to dress for success. It’s the enemy’s task to keep you weak and vulnerable at all times so he can control your life. The lest time we spend with God put us at a disadvantage and we will find our self defeated each time the battle is started. That’s why the enemy always fined a way to keep us busy in the affairs of this life. If we are too tired to focus on God, then our Armour against the enemy will not stand up against the attack. We determine our success in God by how we do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
Ephesians 6:11-17;
11. "Put on the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Don’t wait until after you leave the house to dress for battle, begin each morning planning some alone time with God before the alarm goes off. Spoil the enemy’s sneak attack and go forth in victory each day. Remember, to spend quality time in prayer with the Father, meditate on a passage of Scripture and speak victory over your life and rejoice. Preparing yourself now will allow you to stand strong regardless of the test that lies ahead. Remember beloveth, be ready at all times because you never know when the enemy is planning to mess with you good day.
God bless you and stay encourage, I believe that we are on this journey to succeed. You may have tried before but I pray that through this encouragement you will begin to grow in the knowledge and power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I ask for your patients and willingness to learn and put the Word into action for your life. God has great things for your life and the enemy wants to make sure that you never realize your calling. Think about it for a minute, look at all the things that you are going through, your struggles, disappointments, failures and confusions. These are just tools the devil use to keep you busy stressing out so you can’t see or hear from God in the mist of your situations. But that’s ok, this to will past, we are going to learn how to conquer in the mist of everything we are facing. Just get ready for the battle, because your freedom will come with a price (learning to bring your flesh under control in order to hear form God). Those strongholds and undesirable urges will loose its grip or control over your life Praise be to the Lamb of God that has given us the victory to overcome. God bless and have a great day!! You have just been empowered to conquer, by putting on the appropriate attire . Now go forth and conquer your day!!!

Yes to the dress,It took me sometime to get into habit ( lack of better word ) to pray in the morning before work and once I did, watch out devil, but now I'm laid off, I've stopped praying in the morning, I need that to start up again, so I can become that weapon for Christ, I read the bible everyday and other books that are written by pastors that target my weakness's. So I'm building up to luanch my attack . Thanks for word today, it is inspiring. I to thought it was about the outter attire. GOD BLESS you and yours....... Thanks again.

Wow, talk about being convicted...LOL. Seriously, I set my alarm for 5AM every morning but never get up till 5:30, sometimes 5:45. The reason I set me alarm so early is to spend time with God. Once in a blue moon I get up when the alarm goes off but it is really rare. That is my intention every morning yet I hit snooze for 30 minutes! That is just lazy, but tomorrow I am not going to do it. As matter of fact I am going to put my alarm clock across the room. That way I have to get up. I am pretty sure that is the only way I will do it. Mornings are just rough. No matter how early I go to bed I just hate to get out of bed. But, nonetheless, my mornings are my best time (once I wake up) and we should all be giving God our best time, not our left over time. That is what we usually end up doing. Giving Him our left over time. What ever few minutes of time we think we can "fit in". That is no good. He deserves more than we could ever give Him and yet we still just give Him what we have left over. Well, it is time that changed for me. Tomorrow, God is going to get the first of my time, the best of me.

Dear Dawn,
Thank you for commenting. I used to have the same problem but the Lord canged that for me. He now wakes me up around 3 am and I can't go back to sleep until I spend some time with him. Then upon waking a second time, I give Him praise for that time. It used to annoy me when I could'nt go back to sleep but after learning that time awake was His time, it does'nt phase me at all. 3AM....WOW! I can see why that would have aggrivated you at first. I have done alot better. I was reading "The Lost Virtue of Happiness" and there is alot of great ideas in that book also for me to use as I find more and more time in my life for God. All this time I had for Him and didn't even realize it. It is great. I have been getting up a little earlier also. It feels great. Starts the day off right.

AMEN! THE LORD KNOWS I NEEDED THIS TWO DAYS AGO! IT'S NEVER TO LATE, IT HAD ME JUMPING FOR JOY TODAY! I CHECKED MY MAIL AND LIKE DEBBIE I SAID THIS IS TELLING YOU HOW TO DRESS? I'M SO BUSY I WILL GET IT LATER! THE 1 ST. DAY OF FASTING ( I NO I CAN DO IT) THINGS STARTED GETTING CRAZY , MY WHOLE DAY BUGGED OUT! ME I START CALLING ON THE LORD , I WAS SINGING HOLLY IS THE LAMB! I MEAN AS I STEPPED BACK INTO MY ROOM IT'S LIKE THE HEAT WAS FULL BLAST. I WAS SO SICK, I STARTED TALKING AND SINGING, THIS IS A BATTLE I'M GONNA WIN ! SLEEP WAS REAL GOOD ! /\ /\ I WAS NOT SICK AT ALL. THANK YOU!

This is so very true. I just recently learned to take time in the morning and at night to read the word. I also have learned that I must always take pride in what I wear even if it is just to the store.

I truly enjoyed this article and belive it wholeheartedly,,,,,,,,We DO GET in too much a hurry about everything ,,,,,,,,our dress is a BIG avenue satan uses to cause us and others to stumbe.
I didnt use to think about this as much , but now I watch how I dress,,,,,,,FIRST OF ALL , I PUT ON THE ARMOUR OF GOD EVERYMORNING,,,,,, then when it comes to my appearance , i stay away from low cut anything,,,,,,,,and tight fitting anythings,,,,,,,I believe a woman should dress as a woman , it is hard to practice this since I was brought up that pants were fine , but after a friend pointed out the scripture about this , I have been trying harder to abide by this also ,,,,,,
When our eyes are focused on Jesus and we are thinking like HE commands us to it makes things easier,,,,,,,NOT EASY , BUT easier,,,,,,,,,

I always say I need to post a message on my bedroom ceiling to remind me to say "Good morning Jesus." and another saying, "Hey Satan I'm awake now, watch out!!!" We should all be saying I'm the Christian the Devil warned you about" LOL.
