Permalink Reply by CK on December 11, 2009 at 7:54am CK, it's not just a matter of opinion. It's fact. God tells us in His Word that sexual sin is against the body. So, you don't have to just keep saying it's your opinion - it's God's Word. You are correct. You was also correct in saying we should wait on God for the perfect spouse that He has for us. Life would be so much easier if we followed Him in the first place instead of asking Him to help us after the fact. I'm not referring to you Andrea. I'm actually on my 3rd marriage. My second one passed however but had I waited on the Lord, I wouldn't have married the first one.
CK said:Well, I am one of those people that feel that you should wait to have sex once you are married, but not everyone thinks like that and that is just how they feel, but I don't think the sex things plays the role on it's own, of why u ask is this the reason things aren't working out. It's like this in my opinino and please correct me if I am wrong, but I feel like this, if you have accepted the forgiveness from Christ for having sex out of marriage, then u get married u have to let that sin go and move on, because that is what God wants us to do. I have to say this and as a follower of Jesus point of view, I think the reason why a lot of marriages don't work out are because some people tend to just go and get married and they think that, that is the one they think God has chosen for them or they get married just because they get pregnant and have to do it for the baby. I think alot of marriages goes wrong because a lot of people are not waiting on God, in waiting I don't mean just sex alone I mean letting him guide you and letting him send the person he has for you, your way and not you going out searching for a mate, and some tend to go out looking and they catch all bad fishes. So I have to say no, you not waiting to have sex had nothing to do with your marriage going wrong. It's good to wait, but their are other reasons that a marriage doesn't work out. I pray that you seek God for that answer be blessed!!!
