If by UFO you mean extraterestrials I don't know. I think the sightings that can't be explained are either demonic or angelic.
UFO's are a distraction to take your mind off Jesus. The rapture will come and people will blame it on alien abduction - thats the lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,

Consider this passage from the prophet, Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 1:4-28

4As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. 5And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, 6 but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. 7Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf’s foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. 8Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: 9their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went. 10As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle. 11Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above. Each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies. 12 And each went straight forward. Wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. 13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14And the living creatures darted to and fro, like the appearance of a flash of lightning.
15 Now as I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, one for each of the four of them. 16 As for the appearance of the wheels and their construction: their appearance was like the gleaming of beryl. And the four had the same likeness, their appearance and construction being as it were a wheel within a wheel. 17 When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went. 18And their rims were tall and awesome, and the rims of all four were full of eyes all around. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose. 20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those rose from the earth, the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

22Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring crystal, spread out above their heads. 23And under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another. And each creature had two wings covering its body. 24And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like the sound of many waters, like the sound of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings. 25And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads. When they stood still, they let down their wings.

26And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 27And upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were gleaming metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. 28Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.
Why do you consider these to have been "demons?"
Thanks for posting!
There is a simple test for all these things. Scripture tells us that there is a way that seems right to a man (or attractive) but the ways thereof lead to death.
If what we are studying, spending our time on, our money on, does not lead us into the way everlasting then we are wasting our time.
All of creation points us to Calvary. The caterpillar has to "die" in order to become a butterfly, a seed has to fall into the ground and die in order to bring forth more of its kind. Every living creature has the self sacrificial instinct to preserve and save the life of its own (its offspring). Even the sun in its daily cycle reminds us of the cross as it sinks beneath the horizon and its last dying glow echos the bloody sacrifice. Jesus tells us if we save (preserve) our life we will lose it but if, for His sake, we sacrifice our life we will save it.

To date, there has been nothing in any so called extra terrestrial phenomina that would point us to Jesus and Calvary. The whole of God's creation is an invitation to His own - to come. If we don't see His invitation in it if we don't hear it then we should beware and not give it any of our precious time.
To everyone who posted, thanks for taking time to give your thoughts.

Yesterday, I posted a "status update" with the following quote:

There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance…
That principle is condemnation before investigation.

Solomon, famous for his wisdom, put it this way:

If one gives an answer before he hears,
it is his folly and shame. Proverbs 18:13

Let me first make it clear - I don't believe that the current "UFO phenomenon" is related to creatures from another planet or extra terrestrials.

However, Jesus described the times surrounding His coming to establish His Kingdom of Earth as being "...as in the days of Noah." (Matthew 24:37)

There is an interesting reference to the days leading up to the story of Noah:

When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." The Nephilim were on the erath in those days, and also afterward when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown." Genesis 6:1-5

It's not a "distraction" or a "waste of time" to understand what Jesus was referring to in Matthew 24.

"As far as the manifestations of extraterrestrials we have seen throughout mankind's history, I believe these are demons perpetrating a lie. That is personal opinion and not a Biblical assertion I can support. It is interesting to note though that, as our society has developed technologically so have the manner in which these "ET's" have manifested themselves. They once appeared as fairies and leprachauns they now appear as highly technological beings - in either case they appear to have some kind of knowledge above and beyond what we humans have. It's interesting to note that if you take a look at drawings of what people have seen throughout the ages the present day aliens are not much different in appearance than the ancient faires. Either way they are beings set on deception and are not a modern or last day manifestation or sign. If Jesus wanted us to beware of aliens he would have said beware of aliens."

These are very good points, and right in line with what I believe and others have proposed.

Still, how can the marrying of "righteous" and "unrighteous" result in a race of giants, as described by the root word "Naphal"? Are we just saying that the Nephilim were "bullies and tyrants?"
Nahhh..I think if there WAS life on other planets we would have found them by now..I agree with the thought that it's going to be said that UFO's took people when the rapture happens though.
Let us just remember the armour that as Christians we should never be without; the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of Righteousness, the sword of the Word, the shield of Faith - feet shod with the Gospel and - in the middle holding it all together, the belt of Truth. Not imagination or fantasy or ideas and concepts - what does the letter to the Ephesians say? That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (4, 14).
I am sure there is no need for apology Tammy, standing up for the Truth - being standard bearers of Truth nothing more and nothing less should never be apologised for!
Please note that I'm not easily offended, and I'm fine with your viewpoints and how you are expressing them. I'm deliberately posting certain topics in order to stretch people and see if they can learn a different viewpoint.

Keep challenging me. I get nervous when everyone agrees. That's usually a sign that something is wrong.
