And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

How can we even begin to formulate the words of a prayer to the Master, knowing that we have unfinished business and issues with people?  We open up the door to the enemy when we hold grudges and refuse to forgive.  We may never get an apology from those who have offended us, but we expect God to understand when we sin.  We must change our heart and mind and forgive people, even if you don’t get a chance to tell them before approaching the Lord for ourselves.
