Now that I've read them I know that this ia a very positive motivating powerful song. I wonder if Michael wrote this himself or if a songwriter wrote it. if you know please let me know. WOW.
I think that, yeah... we absolutely need to start with our own selves if we want a change. You cant always change another person or problem and most of the time the issues are out of our own control.
The Lord said to take the plank out of your own eye first before you try to take the plank out of your brothers eye. LOOK IN THE MIRROR. 2012...time to think about some self examination.

I didn't know all of the words to this song either. I was walking my dog towards the end of the year, and a neighbor around the corner from me was playing it. Of course, I was pondering on some things that were troubling me. Having not opened my mouth, God knew my heart, and began to address them until the New Year arrived. The last time that I attended church was last year at this time, I am hoping that I will do better this year.
God realizes that a lot of our complaints are legitimate, but he was a little bit tired of me complaining about them. So he brought back to my remembrance these words-"the man in the mirror". When I heard it, I made haste to get to church on New Year's Eve. The message was about being ready when Jesus comes. I made it into the New Year, but I heard of people who didn't on the news. This is no small matter to me that they didn't and I did. IDK who wrote this song, but maybe you can google it to find out. Happy New Year!
