LIBAW Christian Social Network

Until God's chosen people are doing what God created them to do humanity will suffer. My passion is television, helping people overcome nicotine addictions with a spiritual solution, making a difference in the lives of people in Africa, networking/fellowship and being radically obedient to my Lord Jesus Christ. God created us for His glory and to be His hands, feet and mouth in the earth. Are you doing what you're suppose to be doing; living your purpose, calling, destiny? Or, do you even know what you should be doing? If not, why? What's holding you back and how can we help get you moving?

My passion is giving...there is nothing more extraordinary to give to someone in need. that is my passion i love to see their joy, i want to do more for them, and of course i do not care about getting anything in return but just a smile it makes my day brighter! there's a lot of things more that i want to do but i know that the lord will guide me when it's his time and not my time!
Hey Sheila, thanks for stopping by. Giving is a character trait of our Creator. So how does giving manifest itself in your life? We have lots of ways for people like you with a heart to help/give. Are you currently involved in ways to channel your passion to give?
God's Joyful Servant, Vivian
Yes actually i am involved in a few projects ..i am currently partnered with a ministry to support the missionary to get the gospel spread all around the world...and now i am thinking of partnering with the 700 club as well...this is just a start but definitely planting seed out there about our lord. this is all i could share with for now..for i don't like to boast about anything i do i just like to do the things the lord has called out for me to do in a humble way! This has manifested into my life in a awesome way and i thank the lord for it.
I am in school right now. I am graduating this year with a BA in Religion and then starting in August on my Master is Christian Counseling. I am also a parent. This is what I am called to do. Be a parent first...my daughter must me my priority. I have to raise her to know Jesus Christ and then my school. I am not sure where it will all lead me but I know God has something awesome planned for me.
Hi Dawn, congrats. One of the greatest things we can do as a human being is train up a child in the way he should go. Also, Christian counselors who are filled with God's spirit is a must and we need more. We'd love to engage you in some way on our project with Harvest for Humanity International. Check out our website at www.harvestforhumanity.org and let me know if it triggers anything. Thanks for taking the time to write.
My church does missions in Africa also. I am excited about. I sooooo want to go one day but finances have stopped me thus far. But one day I will go! Be Blessed, ~Dawn~
Hey Vivian my passion is writing and I have finally gotten that passion back. The Lord has blessed my soul and writing tremendously! And just by sharing these words I feel others have been blessed. Check out my blog and let me know what you think. I would like to be your friend also. Thank you and God bless you
Brandy, I was trying to check out your blog but I got somewhat overwhelmed on that page. Can you tell me specifically what I'm suppose to be looking for and I'll go there - help.
Titus 3:5-11 it is not our works that get us to heaven for there is nothing we can do of ourselves lest any of us should boast of the works we do, Ephesians 2:8, 9, 10. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

The works of the Lord are not just teaching his word behind a pulpit, Matthew 25:35-40, the works of the Lord also include feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and not turning our backs on those that are in prison. The works of the Lord is the witness of God shared with people that do not know him.

The basics of what we are to do as a child of God is to know that the calling from God is to take his word out into the world according to Matthew 28:18-20, and to take His word out with love and compassion in our hearts, Matthew 22:36-40, and the works of the Lord are helping those who need our help, Matthew 25:35-40. Grace is what saves us and the works we do are done unto the glory of the kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Matthew 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Hi Debbie, thanks for sharing. Sounds like you got a good handle on what we're suppose to be doing. Generally speaking if you ask Christians they know, but then the question is are they doing what they know they are suppose to be doing - right? How are you living the purpose God called you to do?
WOW, AMEN..thats such a great post!
Well, my passion is to do exactly what you just did. As former pastor of the Tribe of Dan Ministry, and now pastor of Freaked-Out Fellowship, my calling is to help people realize the calling that the Lord has on their lives. We call that being a "Jesus Freak", when one has recognized that God made you in "His own image". So we strive to equip believers to be themselves and express what God has birthed in them.
My passion is to see a body of believers so well equipped in their individual and collective callings that the whole will be affected so much, beyond repair. Our motto is the same as the Apostles, "Turning the world upside down".
Thank you for your work in Christ, and this post.
God bless, in Christ,
Mike Miano
Wow! This is a great discussion. I'm not sure what my purpose is but my purpose is somewhere in the department of serving, giving and compassion. I work in a nursing home where I try to improve their quality of life, in church I am in the choir and I help out with other services. I would like to go out in the community though, and spread the word, I do at work constantly. I tell you, I would like to be out there more, but I've been struggling balancing time between being a single parent, work, and duties that I have at church. I also love working with the youth and I would like to start an outreach program at my church. God bless sis and keep up the good work.
