if all american s and english and all internationals people signed this god would be back in our schools
While i do not think prayer should be banned in public schools, the problem with any organized prayer is that a public school must reflect the community its in, and not just one religion. Children of all walks of life and religious (and non religious) backgrounds attend public schools, and to force them to participate in one particular religion's practices would be unethical. If one religion is taught in a public school, then all religions must be taught.
My issue with it is that this is still a country where we practice freedom of religion. People are free to practice whatever religion they feel is right for them. A public school system is funded in part by the tax money of people of all different religions and beliefs. Despite our personal beliefs, it would be unfair to force any particular religion to be taught in a public school, which by design, services all the community, not just the Christian community.
First off...
Jason and Kenneth, I agree completely with both of you.

Second...
And I don't wish to sound mean or nit-picky, but - we want god back in our schools - whoever you may be. Please slow down and make sure of what it is you're trying to tell us. I can barely make out what you're saying because of all of the typos and grammatical errors.

Finally...
Just because we re-institute prayer in schools that doesn't mean anyone will be impacted by it. If we choose a simple, non-sectarian prayer, then everyone will still pray to whatever concept of God they hold in their mind already. It will not be prayer to the God that you want everyone to pray to.
Besides, if there's anything that history has taught us about institutional and forced religious practices it's that they tend to generate the opposite of what they're intended for. Or do you want to see people become more hostile towards Christianity than they have already become?
