How To Save A LIFE " Please Read and understand And PRAY for our KIDS"

This Is VERY Important to Me so Please take this to Heart. The Teen Suicide Epidemic is Threatening to take out students in every school. Don't just stand back and Pray it doesn't happen in yours; DO Something about it. I write this to tell you guys and Gals how true it is. Brandon Chan from Tucson High School in (Ariz) came to school one morning and found out that is Best Friend had committed Suicide. He Was In shock because he had just seen his friend the Day before and he said everything seemed ok. Chan said what hurt the most was he never had the chance to share the Love of Christ with Him. Chan also said that the Suicide opened his eyes to how he used to shut out certain groups of students in his high school. Chan also said that " He said that it has showed him that he needed to acted more Like Jesus, And spend time with the people who need Jesus more than any thing else" Even an FCA ( Fellowship of Christ Athletes) said that we needed to get out of our cliques and interact with everyone, Even if they are different. JESUS is more important than being Popular. People the Problem is REAL, They're out there, right in front of you and we don't even see it or realize it, They might be close friends or they might be acquaintances who have put on such keenly crafted masks that their life's appear to be perfectly normal, But deep inside they are searching for a purpose, hope, and a reason to live. LIBAW family these young men and women are dying to be heard, and all to often their cries go unanswered. These Young people are taking their Life's because they don't feel important to anyone or have never been told about the one and only Giver of true Life: Jesus Christ. If only someone would have listen and cared. If someone would just reach out it would make a difference. Now this was Shocking to me when I read it, " One of the most discouraging aspects of the ever-increasing teen Suicide trend is the lack of communication about the Topic". Everyone in varying degrees gets uncomfortable talking about it (Suicide) and would rather sweep it under the rug than to stare it down and take a stand against it. Let me ask you this question " What is it going to take for Us as Teens and Adults to make us wake up and realize the magnitude of this problem"? For one thing it will take us to have great strength and Faith who are willing to use the voices and hearts God gave them- Christ-followers who realize that the true price of inaction is more costly than anyone wants to pay. We have to Open our Eyes and Ears. Family statistics shows us that about every two hours here in the United States One 15-24 years old takes his or her own life. SUICIDE ranks as the third leading cause of death in Adolescents. Now while the statistics are alarming, it may be more frightening to note that there are often very few warning signs to predict who is at risk. There is a Book written by Dr. Steven Gerali that is called " What Do I Do When Teenagers are Depressed and Contemplate Suicide" It states that many students appear to be enjoying life on the outside, but are being tormented emotionally on the inside ( They are besieged with lack of purpose and extreme loneliness, which ultimately leads to Depression and Withdrawal". Weather they are positive or negative shifts we need to monitor them.Watch for Emotional changes, Gerali Said " Situational cues can also serve as warning signs, but be especially mindful of teens who are Isolating themselves or withdrawing from others". Letting the person know that they are not alone is the biggest key, You know we Can talk for hours about the hope we have in Christ, But, Until a person understands That we really care, They will never hear us. LIBAW Family Please Take this serious because It touch's the heart of me Because I have Been There and I have tried 3 times, so Please don't be afraid to talk about it or if you want information on it you can go to www.suicidology.org. Please give me your thoughts and comments on this and also check out tosavealifemovie.com or tosavealifeleaders.com. Thank you for your time Love you LIBAW Family........God Bless

Been there and tried many times, but now I know it was the hand of God that stopped me everytime. It is hard to depict suicidal thoughts in another when their outside actions are far from a depressed soul inside themselves. When I was in this place I knew the Lord and had accepted him many years before my attempts, but I allowed the situations in my life take over my life because I did not allow outside support because I didn't want to burden anyone with what I was going through and when I did try to get help from a former pastor all I got was a pat on the back and told I was a strong person and I could handle what I was going through. After he told me this on my way home from church I tried again, but still God held me back. I was one of the fortunate ones that truly wanted to live, but die at the same time. Sounds weird, but it was almost like having to personalities.

I never did like cliques in school growing up and reserved myself away from most people because I grew up a welfare child and was shunned by those that had a more privileged life so to say. I think this is why even now I am always for the underdog. If we separate ourselves from those who seem less worthy to associate with then how will they ever know the love of Christ in their lives. Even churches have their cliques that leave others feeling like they are not even worthy to walk through the doors. Where and with whom did Jesus associated with while he walked this earth, but the least of the least. Lepers, tax collectors, heathens despicable people of society that even some today will have nothing to do with. If it wasn't for the unconditional love that Christ had for us many of us would not even be here right now. If we are truly a child of God whether a teenager or adult we had better be walking in the same footsteps of Jesus with love and compassion for everyone including our enemies and be ready in and out of season to let the light of Christ shine through us. We might not see the inside of one's heart, but we can sure be a friend to all who cross our paths no matter who they are.

Praise the Lord he thought I was worthy enough to reach out to and may His Spirit always be in me to help me to see others that need him so much in their lives. Thank you Daniel for this much needed awareness and all I can say is get involved.
