The earth will abide for ever. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 1:3-5

3- What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

4- One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

5- The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

However, after the 1000 year reign of Christ, the earth will be "changed" by fire, just as it was "changed" by the flood.

well you are not the only one ,, i keep tellen people that jesus is comming VERY soon but they just say i knoe and go about doing there way .. and i feel that he is quicking our harts to let us knoe that he is and that we need to listen to it i think that god is telling us to get ready and to go out and tell who will hear,,

I do agree aswell. I feel like we are living in the End Times, & if you really think about it , its not only true but also really scary. The Bible mentions in 2 Timothy 3 . That there will be terrible times . If you look at whats happening in the world now. You will see that it matches up to what 2 Timothy says. But we as Christians can't get discouraged about this , we have to stay strong as believers , because God alone is the one that has all under control.

When we have a clear and binding relationship with the Lord, we have no fear. With this relationship firmly in place, we gain the understanding and placement of peace that passes all humanistic understanding. If you haven't arrived at that place, I encourage all to get there. It takes prayer, study of the Word of God, and a strong desire to become changed from the old man, the material person into the mind of Christ--putting the things of this world behind us.

I love the study of end-times prophecy, but my focus and burden is for lost souls. I posted a blog the other day "Do Your Neighbors Go To Church", I encourage all to read it. Jesus left us with the commission to make disciples of the people of the world, not get into debate when he is returning. People have lost their focus since the 1st century over that question.

I forgot to add that these things coming are not to scare us, but to prepare us and we need to keep being about our Fathers business for His Salvation to the world. Personally for myself I want to know what is ahead as the Holy Spirit reveals the signs of Jesus coming. Whether it's in our lifetime or not we need to be prepared.

Sounds like everyone is in agreement that we are in the Last Days. I received a revelation through a dream many years ago - it was in regards to Jesus coming in the clouds. My dream was of a beautiful sunny day. All of a sudden there was a light so bright that it made the day seem cloudy all though it was one of the brightest days ever. This new light passed over the earth and as it did people were taken and people were left just like the scripture says. I woke up amazed at the thought of a light so bright that a sunny day would look dark in comparison. I know that god was showing me that some of the words used to describe things in the Bible are not literal. No one knows the day or the hour so we should all be ready.
