HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CHRISTIANS WHO OPENLY BRAG ABOUT THEIR SINS??

THERE ARE MANY WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES  CHRISTIANS AND CLAIM TO LOVE GOD BUT THEY ARE OPENLY BRAGGING ABOUT THEIR SINS... IN MOST CASES...DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO BRAG ABOUT THEIR SINS AND THOSE WHO DON'T?? IS THIS HOW THE BIBLE TEACHES US AS CHRISTIANS TO RESPOND TO SIN IN OUR LIVES?

I AM TALKING ABOUT SOMEONE WHO IS OPENLY SINNING AND ENJOYS BROADCASTING THEIR ESCAPADES TO OTHERS WETHER IT BE IN WORDS OR DEEDS...I AM GOING SOMEWHERE WITH THIS ONE MY SISTER....IF THIS QUESTION IS ANSWERED...MAYBE EVERYONE WILL COME TO THE CONCLUSION FOR ME.
The bible says that we must confess our sins to one another.
but bragging with ones sins means showing off with what is not from God, giving it a special position in your life, like being proud of it which is not Christ-like.
As long as you humbly report maybe in your testimony about what evil you did in your past, and how wonderfully God has changed your life, then it is even important to mention as maybe a non-Christian or seeker might see where they are in, and how it all turned out for the good by the Mercy of God.
I am sure you only emphasize on BRAGGING about sins, right? Because there is no one without sin, even after being newborn we still do sin sometimes. So those who never speak about their failures are either too shy to say it, or they think of them as perfect which is pride, and also not Christ-like and a sin in the eye of God.
Please replace the words "YOU, YOUR" in the 2. chapter of my above comment with "someone". English is not my mother tongue, and in our language the word "YOU" can also be used for general expression.
Unfortunately Carol took it very personal, but this was not my intention, and I am sorry.

IT TOOK SOMETIME BUT I FINALLY SEE THAT I WAS WRONG...PLEASE FORGIVE ME BECAUSE I AM TRULY SORRY.
thank you Carol, I already did <3, I also should take more care how to express myself better in future, too..
Words do have power, as proven once again here ..
well i get where ur comming from & yes its a bother! who wants to hear about anyone going & flanting what wrong doing they have done!
Eph. 5:3-4 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Proverbs 10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness [NKJV: what is perverse].

Proverbs 14:9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

Proverbs 15:21 Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If their is a difference as far as salvation is concerned, ultimatly God is the only one who will really know. The Bible gives us various tests to discern weather someone is possible lost, but only God can truely search the heart. So as long as a profession of faith is made on there part we must assume they are brothers or sisters in Christ, But if any doubt remains preach the gospel anyways.

Now we can say with out a shadow of doubt that this person is according to the Bible acting in very foolish, unwise, is lacking in love, and is grieving the Holy Spirit, and is sinning. The Bible does say confess your faults one to another, but if not done in a reverent way with shame then it is being done in Pride and arrogance:

Jam 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

If the person is saved. Their relationship to God never changes, but their fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit is hindered, and so are their graces in life and power to over come sin.

If the person is not saved, They have no relationship to God, and are only acting by the only nature they have, a sinful one, and the only relationship the Spirit has to them untill the repent and turn to salvation in Christ is Sin against God and His Son, a need for God's righteousness found in Christ, and the judgment that sin has already had in God's eyes.

John 16 "And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:"
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men

what I was refering to is not a works supplament faith gospel and christian life. I do not want to be associated with that belief system. Please read what I wrote in its context. Relationship is by the imputed position in Christ, it never changes. My fellowship does
For me, in my own earthly understanding its stupid! But in my kingdom citizen mind, they are not yet in the kingdom of Heaven cause they are in way of life and culture. Still ideologist way of thinking.

I think if youre a Christian, you should be very humble and contrite about your past and be willing to share ONLY in the fact that "this is what the grace of God has saved me from". When we parade our lives before Christ as somekind of badge of how we lived there is a huge problem. If you do not have an understanding of what Christ had done for you and share the sins of your past as an example of how much fun the world is then you need to get with a brother or sister that has knowledge and the ability to tutor you in how to share without falling into a bad habit of bragging about your past. As evidenced by the previous comments...there are many scriptures that can pertain to this. However, if a person is serious about their faith, the simple knowledge of knowing that those sins were sending you to hell, and that the grace of God has given you life eternally should put it in the proper perspective for you. Just some thoughts to chew on
