Is this another doctrine of Balaam? or of Jezebel or devil using both.....!

I am sory there may be some spelling mistakes in this post. The reason is because i use public paid internet cafe here.its normally costly per minute, and bad keyboards...much money for much time to edit...lol,how ever...the Holy spirit will help me and you the reader to understand His mind.
Paul said...."i did not come to you with enticing words of wisdom of men....but...."By His grace,am sory i am neither a bible scholar nor theologian,so am not used to "according to theology" interpretation...most time contextual interpretations dilute the "now revelance" power of the scripture and we find our self struggling with prompt obidience to the rhema. One thing i am very very sure is that The Holly Spirit leads and speaks His mind through people (and ofcouse through the scriptures.

On our topic,Eternal Security, brethren,in addition to what i had posted as reply to this topic posted by one of my brothers,I will like us to look at the book of revelation. If the relevance of other scriptures i quoted had been made unreasonable on contextual grounds,at least, revelation has to do with our age.

On whether a once saved person can face judgemant and be condemned to hell, letters to the churches in the book of Revelation were written to both churches of believers and the universal church of ...'once saved' people.
I pray you ask the Spirit to explain these passages to you for "He will lead You into all thruths.

Rev. 2 vs 4-6:Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. 5Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Rev.2 vs 10-11:. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.
Now read this:Rev 2 vs 12:Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. 15Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.....

and vs 20;Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
Let me say something here.i believe we can find an read what transpired between balaam.and balak. All about the doctrine of ballam is to put a stumbling block between people and thier progress in relationship with God and or their journey to heaven. The doctring was all about introducing sin into the system to make the people fall from favour and grace of God....and the people really did.And the bible says they were destroyed becaouse of that..."courtesy of balaam'!Behold how much a stumbling block that a bad doctrine can be to the believers.
The doctrine of jezebel is spelt out here as immorality.
Now a bad ductrine is never from God but the devil and is not going to achieve anything more that subtly weakening the people spiritually, bringing sin, tearing the church apart, enthroning satan and immorality and at the end making one lose his salvation and miss heaven. And for a doctrine like one that says once u are saved, you are heaven bound forverer, which i call HELL IMMUNITY CLAUSE.Its already believed by many people and thats why there are no difference any longer between a believer and unbeliever in terms of character.A believer, saved, is free to live and sleep with a boy or girl friend(some one not married) and its no longer a sin,and its even best if both attend same church, even sing in same choir.when i was a little boy,it used to be a very big insult to call one bastard, but its nothing these days to make bastards of God's gift, children who are supposed to come from a holy conjugation of blessed seeds. It can be understood when we are not saved, bur when its not a serious problem simply because we are saved.....Unfortunately,this immunity clause is the reasom pastors sleep with churesters, choir members.....becaouse they belive they will still make heaven. But thats when The Lord will say....I NEVER KNEW YOU.and think about so many things that are heppening in our churches and unbelievers are nolonger challanged by our lifestyles.some of us can not even preach to our next door neighbours because we are no different from them....shame to satan!

Finally,Rev 3vs 4-5:Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. 4Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. 5He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. 6He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
This clearly tells us that those that have soiled their cloth....in other words, our cloths were washed when we recieved Christ and are saved, when, because of pressure, evil doctrine or what ever,we go into sin,we soil our cloths again.and king james Version Bible says "defile"

DEFILEMENT:1st cor 3vrs 17: If any defiles God's temple,he will God destroy ;... for ye are his temple.pls quote from King james version. Also read Revelation 21 vs 5-8

Brethren. The spirit recomends repentance and faithfulness and steadfastness through the letters to the churches.he also talks about those that will overcome and warned against what will befall those that hold onto their sins, claming they were saved.
The advocates of eternal insecurity say that one's name ca not be removed from the book of life but ....

Rev 3 vs 5 says..." He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels".....Not because he was saved or waht ever, but because the refuse to continue in SIN.

A better relationship with God through the Holy Spirit,Constant Abiding will help the church to overcome all these so that our name will not be blot out of the book of live.
We are lucky, this is not the trumpet sound but another word out of mercy, calling for repentance from ever sins committed agains God and man....an God says...."I WILL RECIEVE YOU" He that confesses his sins..."and does not go back or continue in them...shall obtain mercy..once again! Let us not be like Ananais and saphirah, unless we believe they are in heave.

God bless You!!!
God bless Greg....and LIBAW

In response to "Eternal Security", I always found it amazing and comforting to know our Father knows every hair on our head, He knows every need, every sorrow, every desire. Gods word tells us that He knows the thought of the heart. And salvation is based in faith in the person and work accomplished by Jesus. Repentance, (on our part), is the knowlage that an action is sin, and choosing not to partisapate. In your heart you truly believe Jesus is the Christ, then your heart will tell you when somthing is unpleasing to God. His spirit lives in us to guide us, the choise is yours however. God judges our heart and if we choose to live in sin then there is no repentance, therefore no commitment to Christ. Even Satan believes in God and chooses to disobey. We as believers are promised salvation because Jesus paid the price for our sin, and a thankful heart will leave behind those things that break the heart of the one that gave His very life. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but our Father knows if we sorrow over our sins, or if we say to ourselves, God will forgive me just to justify our wrong doing. If you have ask Jesus into your life, trust the spirit of God, and take all failures to our Father. He loves you, and will give you everything you need for life and Godlyness. God bless you and may God reveal His passion for you.
