DECISION MAKING: what decision did you make before you came to serve Jesus?

Ruth 1:16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”

This scripture truly indicate how serious Ruth was when she took a firmly decision to follow Naomi to Israel .

heaven .
When you make a decision make sure that the decision you take bear a fruit. we Christian when we make a decision to serve Jesus , we serve  continuously till the day we will die ,there is no rest in serving Jesus , the day your will rest is when you die.
Again when we make a decision you have to prepared to face any situation , some Christian when they decided to serve GOD and things are going well , they beat their chest , GOD is GOOD ALL THE TIM , but when things change they say oh GOD why and started complaining , in serving God there is not complaining , God don’t welcome people who complain ,
Also when you decided to serve GOD let your yes be yes and no be no ,anything above that is from the devil , when you decided to stop drinking , adultery , smoking , fornication ,masturbation and anything unlawful remember that satan is using you because you have failed your yes promise .
Obey GOD also count in decision making when it comes of following Jesus , you cant disobey GOD and expect to go heaven , no way , GOD don’t work and walk with disobedient people.
It repented me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.1 Samuel 15:11
Don’t let GOD feel sorry about your about making you pastor, rich, beautiful hansome, manage and someone you didn’t expected to be .
WHAT DECISION DID YOU MAKE BEFORE YOU CAME TO SERVE JESUS ????????

Enjoyed this Theo. Thank you. I would like to say however, that smoking is never listed in the Word as a sin nor is drinking. I always stand hard against drinking because I'm not one who can put it down with just one glass, I have to get plastered. For me, drinking is a sin but it's not for others. The Bible says do not get "drunk" on the wine. The Bible even suggests wine for medicinal purposes. Now, I would never say this to a newer Christian because I wouldn't want them running with the idea that it's OK so I only say this to those who are off of the bottle. Again, thanks for the article.
thanks  for your  comment. let he that have ears should listen to what the spirit is saying to the church .
Amen

I actually don't smoke anymore when I was rereading this today.

For me brother I didn't make the decision to serve, about 11 yrs ago I responded to his call and the rest has been his doing. I am like a piece of clayand he molds my servitude and I simply respond to that. It is an interesting question. I guess my decision was to respond, but I don't feel I really had a decision to make. God bless you bro.
Amen Mike
